Frequently Asked Questions
What's a Meet & Greet? Meet & Greets are informal 1:1 video calls where you can meet the Partner Medical team, get any questions answered, and give us a chance to learn about you and what you're looking for before you join.
What does a membership cover? The monthly membership covers unrestricted, transparent, open access to Dr. Meador or Chris Moag. We're just a call or text away. There is no one between you and your doctor. We are the ones that answer the phone, not an answering service or registration desk.
Do you see children? Yes! Dr Meador and Chris both have expertise in treating children and we are happy to see children.
Where are you located? We do not have a brick and mortal location. Instead we offer immediate access to your clinician by text/phone/video. We also offer home visits when in-person care is needed.
Do you do home visits? Yes. Home visits are included in the membership fee. We will visit our patients' homes whenever we can't handle an issue over the phone and for annual physical exams.
Do you accept insurance? You can have any insurance you prefer. However, Partner Medical does bill any insurance, removing all the headaches and added barriers to care. This allows us to keep costs low and to truly focus on you and your health goals. We encourage members to keep some sort of health insurance in case of emergencies or specialty visits. This tends to be a financially advantageous approach to managing your annual healthcare costs.
Can I use my HSA/FSA? Yes. Many HSA/FSA plans will cover the cost of membership. However, you should check with your accountant and HSA/FSA provider to confirm.
What if I want to cancel my membership? That's perfectly ok - thing change and we understand that. We just ask you to give us 30 days notice to tie up loose ends.
What if I need bloodwork or imaging? We order and interpret bloodwork and imaging, using local labs and radiology clinics. We can also perform point-of-care (POC) testing during home visits - this includes things like urine tests for infections and pregnancy, strep tests, EKGs, etc.
What if I need to see a specialist? We have a network of excellent specialists that we consult with for complex medical issues. This often allows us to avoid unnecessary referrals, saving you time and money. When a referral is needed, we have preferred specialists we refer to and can sometime get you seen quickly. We'll also work with to make sure we are finding the best option for your healthcare needs and preferences.
