Never Go to an Urgent Care Again

Updated: Oct 11

Getting sick or injured is difficult by itself, but having to visit the doctor in those situations makes it even harder. This often means visiting to an urgent care, which although may be less of an inconvenience than the emergency room, is still a huge time commitment and often a less-than-ideal experience.

Urgent care visits usually require an appointment, lots of digital or paper forms for registration, a co-pay, 30-45 minutes sitting in an uncomfortable waiting room, and then seeing a rushed provider who doesn’t know you. If you have your children with you or if they’re the ones being treated, the experience is doubly painful.

In the end, you may get an antibiotic or an x-ray, but you’re ultimately told to figure the rest out on your own. And of course, a few weeks later you’ll get a bill for a couple hundred dollars.

Partner Medical’s approach to acute and urgent visits is different. Our members have anytime access directly to their provider and get care right from their home - digitally or with a home visit.

This saves hours of time and hassle, eliminating the commute to the clinic, sitting in the waiting room, registration forms, paying co-pays, and delayed and overpriced bills.

On top of it all, our members always see their provider. Someone they know and trust, who is committed to their overall health, not just a one-off visit.

For our members, sick visits are a full evaluation of the problem, a treatment plan that’s tailored to their specific needs and preferences, and prescriptions delivered to their home.

Finally, when members are sick, their team at Partner Medical is committed to making sure they get back to their healthy self. This means that sick visits always come with follow up text messages or phone calls to re-evaluate symptoms, ensure the treatment plan is working, and coordinate any additional care.

Acute and urgent care at Partner Medical gives our members peace of mind that their illnesses will always be taken care of and makes feeling sick the only hard part of being sick.

A True Story from Partner Medical…

A patient of ours reached out at 2am on a Tuesday with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea while he was traveling in Colorado for work. Chris Moag, PA-C, responded at 5am, asking the patient about his symptoms, possible sources of infection, and about red flags that might need a visit to the ER.

After determining the patient’s symptoms were most likely a viral infection, a stomach bug, Chris ordered a prescription to the pharmacy, recommended fluids and rest, and made a plan for follow ups to make sure the patient started feeling better.

Our patient got follow up texts from Chris three times throughout the day, again the following day, and a final time a week later. Thankfully, the patient continued to improve and was back to his regular self after 24 hours.
